Along the yellow tourist route is the top of Velký Kosíř with a recently built lookout tower. The distance is less than 5 km. Velký Kosíř is humorously called “Haná Mont Blanc“. It is a forested round mountain range on the border of Olomouc and Prostějov region. From 15th to 18th century there were extensive vineyards on the southern slopes. The peak is 442 m tall and at the top there is a recently built wooden lookout tower, which stands on a stone foundation and is strengthened with steel elements.
