The museum was built with a significant support from partners. In 2021, the museum was enlarged to another floor. Visitors can see around 50 carriages and sleighs, the exposition of lanterns and many interesting things connected with these historical means of transport. In the museum, visitors can see also archbishop’s carriages, hearses, examples of the original condition and a restoration workshop. Interestingly, all carriages are usable and can be seen working on various occasions. It is the largest carriage museum in Europe that is worth visiting. In july, the museum organizes an unique event Josefkol, which is an international gathering of masters of wheeles, carriages and reins crafts.
